EFA Multi-Day Virtual Open Studios 2020
This free event offered multiple avenues to explore the artworks and ideas being created by our community of artists from all three EFA programs.
EFA Studios hosted private half-hour Zoom visits with studio member artists, a panel discussion to introduce 2020 new member artists, and a special edition of Dannielle Tegeder’s Pandemic Salon on the topic of autonomy.
EFA Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop hosted a conversation between artist Baseera Khan and John Andrews about new print publication and offered an at-home stencil demo with Antonia Perez for adults and families.
EFA Project Space hosted a panel with the 2019-20 SHIFT: A Residency for Arts Workers residents and a closing event and publication launch as part of the exhibition, The Immigrant Artist Biennial 2020: Here, Together!.
In addition to these live events, screenings and walkthroughs were posted to the 2020 EFA [Virtual] Open Studios website at www.efa.art. In-person gallery exhibitions were open with extended hours.
