Space is often a challenging organizing principle that can evoke both questions and concerns when creating an exhibition. How do we think about space? As a frame? An idea? Or a language? We have invited curators from the city’s top museums to share their experiences with us. Some questions the panel will consider are: As a curator, how do you think about space? How have you engaged with it, and “charged” it? Do artworks change when inserted into a particular context? What do you see as the most important goal for a curator in your context? And for us, as artists, how should we think about the spaces where our works may be viewed?
