Jason Sho Green
Jason Sho Green earned an M.F.A. from the New York Academy of Art and a B.S. in electrical engineering (autonomous robotics) from the University of Washington. In 2012 he built three installations in collaboration with Akademie Schloss Solitude and United Residencies in Leipzig and Stuttgart, Germany. In 2013 he was admitted as a member of the Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts. He attended the Terra Foundation Residency in Giverny, France in 2010. He is currently represented by Morton Fine Art in Washington D.C.
Stemming from his childhood dreams of becoming a toy designer, Jason's work is an ode to the studio as laboratory. His installations create an interactive world of small inventions, hand-made prototypes, robotics, sculptures, sketches, and paintings. The work becomes a evolving nest of relics from studio exploration.
