Jeff Hoppa
Jeff Hoppa’s oil paintings on panel and works on paper celebrate the history of exploration, the natural world and the metamorphic potential of abstraction. His inspirations run the gamut from rock formations at Joshua Tree National Park, where he was Artist-in-Residence in 2007, to the inner ear bones of narwhals at The American Museum of Natural History. Hoppa is a graduate of the MFA Fine Arts program at The School of Visual Arts (2004), was an adjunct Professor of drawing at New York Institute of Technology from 2004 to 2009, and has been a member of EFA Studios since 2006.
