Ragna Berlin
Born and raised in Sweden I studied civil engineering and architecture as well as sculpture. Growing up I sewed and designed clothing. As a fine artist I combine my skills and experiences using different medias as sculpture, painting, installation and photography to explore amorphous shapes, space and light.
My work is abstract yet emotions and relations are important components. I work with subtleties regarding composition, how I use the media and how the objects relate to each other and the surrounding. These small dislocations needs reality to be experienced and felt. The first impression is not what a more thorough look will develop. My art relates to time and presence.
I exhibit my work both in Europe and in the US at museums and galleries. I do commissions.
